The Claim
Free will has always been offered a false choice: be a slave to prior causes, or a slave to chance. Agenticism proposes a third category— output that is neither determined nor random, but genuinely of one’s own volition.

Where the framework begins
A Third Category
The free-will debate has long assumed two exits: either your choices are fixed by prior causes, or they are the product of chance. Agenticism argues there is a third door — output that is neither determined nor random, but genuinely agentic.
IIThe Will
A Will is the fundamental unit of consciousness, identity, and matter — the irreducible core of what makes a conscious being uniquely itself. Everything Agenticism says about choice starts here.
IIIThe Law
If the Will is the chooser, Law is what there is to choose about: an eternal, non-conscious, omnipresent vector field of directional influence. Its direction is the ontological definition of good.
